Chelsea have THIRTEEN different goalscorers in EPL after just 11 games

Chelsea boast the second best attacking record in the Premier League so far, but what will please Frank Lampard the most is his side’s ability to share the goods

After a brief slow start to the campaign, the Blues have been firing on all cylinders but it’s not just Timo Werner and Co that opposition defenders have to be wary of.

Chelsea, who sit third in the Premier League with 22 points from 11 matches, have already had 13 different goalscorers so far in the English top flight.

No other Premier League outfit is into double figures yet, with Manchester City, Brighton and Southampton all joint-second with nine different goalscorers.

New boy Werner and a surprise inclusion of Kurt Zouma are currently Chelsea’s top scorers this campaign with four goals to their name, while Tammy Abraham and Jorginho have netted three each.

Ben Chilwell has two goals, while Thiago Silva, Olivier Giroud, Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech have all got on the scoresheet too.

Lampard will be desperate for his side to continue posing a threat from all over the pitch as they go on the hunt for the Premier League title following their summer spending spree.

The Blues sit just two points off Tottenham and Liverpool at the top of the pile, and they hold the second best attack in the top flight while having the second meanest defence.

Meanwhile Liverpool and Manchester United, alongside Crystal Palace, Leicester and West Ham, have eight different scorers on their books.

And despite Tottenham’s rapid start to the 2020-21 campaign, Jose Mourinho’s men have just seven goalscorers in total.

Son Heung-min and Harry Kane have been the main men for Spurs – scoring ten and eight times respectively.

  • But the worrying trend for Arsenal continues following their woeful start to the Premier League campaign.
  • Only six players have scored in the top flight for Mikel Arteta’s side, who currently languish in 15th – having netted just 10 times in 11 matches.
  • At the bottom of the pile are struggling clubs Burnley and Sheffield United, who both sit in the relegation zone.
  • Both sides have have just four different goalscorers on their books so far, but will be desperate for that to change immediately as they look to battle their way out of the relegation zone.
