Edouard Mendy trips Dominic Calvert Lewin in the box, to hand Everton a penalty…Which was the only goal in the match…

It wasn’t a day to remember for the blues as we were unable to score a goal till the final whistle was blown…Reece James and Kurt zouma were the only player that could disturb Jordan Pickford. Despite the fact that they are both defensive players…

The blues failed to go to the top of the table after the lost…Chilwell hopes Chelsea gather their momentum and start another fine form…

The way Everton play, it is difficult to get back into the game, Ben Chilwell said after the 1-0 loss to Everton.

“Me and Reece [James] struggled to get into the game, the wingers were good at tracking us, and in general, Everton defended very well as a team.

“We knew that would be the case and their fans were behind them and it gave them confidence to keep the clean sheet. The longer the game went on, the more difficult we knew it would be to score.

“The first 30 minutes we were not good enough and we need to pick ourselves up and go again on Tuesday, which we will.

It is still a relatively new group in terms of gelling together and although we were unbeaten for however many games, with the squad we have we want to win every match but we know the reality of it is that we are not going to win every match.”

We could accept the lost because three wingers was absent due to injuries…Lampard then forced Havertz to play in the wing which was not his preferred position…

We hope to have Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson Odoi back as early as possible as our matches are rolling in the coming days…
