With just about 32 minutes into our game against Manchester City on Sunday, the Citizens were already cruising away with a 3 goal lead.
Many expected Mendy to have done better with the first and second goal but the Keeper redeemed himself with some couple of saves to avoid an increase in the already disappointing scoreline.
One particular save was in the second half. As City were all over the place, Mendy made a unbelievable save to Rodri’s powerful header and avoid letting the scoreline extends to 4-0.
This helped Chelsea stay in the game until they got a consolation goal through Callum Hudson Odoi to atleast make the scoreline a bit considerable as the game ended 1-3.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT MENDY’S PERFORMANCE IN THE GAME. COULD HE HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER WITH THOSE CITY FIRST HALF GOALS?
