Chelsea completely dominated and defeated Burnley at Stamford Bridge few days ago.
The Blues were just of too much quality for their opposition who got just one attempt on goal throughout the whole game, an attempt that came in the last minute of the game.
It was a complete performance by the Blues who won 2-0 with goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
After such performance, it was unlikely that anyone would find fault in that Chelsea’s performance but their Head coach Thomas Tuchel did.
Don’t get me wrong, Tuchel’s was pleased with the overall performance and single handedly praised the wingbacks, back three, two numbers six and the overall intensity Chelsea put into the game but he wasn’t particularly pleased with the fact that Chelsea had to rely on defenders to score the two goals.
Speaking to the media after the match, he called out to the attackers in the game and stated that the fact both goals was scored by defensive players should send a message to forwards.
With one win and one draw for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea, he will be hoping to grab another important win on Thursday night as Chelsea travel to face Tottenham at North London.
