Chelsea will be looking to make it FIVE games unbeaten against Spurs tonight as they travel to North London for the derby encounter.
The Blues did a double on them last season but managed only a draw at Stamford Bridge last year.
Thomas Tuchel however will be looking to send a message with an important win tomorrow which could see Chelsea go just four points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Chelsea are steadily getting back to form with the appointment of Thomas Tuchel and the outcome of this game would have an important role to play about how things could shape out for Tuchel as Chelsea boss.
Tottenham on the other hand are suffering from a lapse at the moment, loosing to Brighton in their last match so Mourinho will be eager to bounce back as soon as possible starting from this game.
All these being said we are expecting a very exciting game tonight.
Thomas Tuchel comfirmed in his press conference ahead of this match that Chelsea could be without Kurt Zouma and Kai Havertz after both suffered slight injuries during training.
Speaking to the media about Chelsea injuries, Thomas Tuchel said:
We have two little issues today on the training pitch. We had Kurt Zouma and Kai Havertz going off the pitch with little issues. They are checking and having scans now. It is questionable whether they will be in the squad. Everyone else is available.
Tottenham Hotspur on the other way are expected to be with star man Harry Kane who suffered a knock in their game last week against Liverpool.
Thomas Tuchel has decided to use the 3 at the back formation since arriving to Chelsea with wing backs and two inside forward behind the top 9.
Having played that way and avoided a single shot on target, it is expected he will stick to that tonight against Tottenham.
Thomas Tuchel singled out the back five and two central midfielders for praise in our last match against Burnley and will most likely stick with that against Tottenham also.
Tho Ngolo Kante is back and could be a possible replacement for Jorginho or Kovacic, I doubt if Tuchel would want to start Ngolo Kante in a high tempo game like Tottenham as he is just recovering from an hamstring injury.
Thomas Tuchel started Werner, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham against Burnley but the attack didn’t really work so well untill Christian Pulisic came on so we could be expecting Christian Pulisic in the starting lineup for the first time in the Thomas Tuchel era.
