Match Preview
Chelsea will take on Manchester United in the Premier League at 5:30pm (West African Time) today at Stamford Bridge.
This first leg fixture ended in a goalless draw at Old Trafford last year and a lot has changed since then.
Chelsea have moved from 2nd to 10th and back to 5th, sacking Frank Lampard in the process and employing Thomas Tuchel is now unbeaten as a Chelsea Manager.
Manchester United stayed at the top of the league for a while before being displaced to second by a consistent and ravishing Manchester City side.
Chelsea now sits at 43 points, 6 points behind 2nd placed Manchester United.
Injury Updates
Ole has comfirmed prior to this game that Juan Mata is ruled out for the clash while Scott McTominay and Edison Cavani are unlikely to be fit also.
However Manchester United have a boost in Van De Beek who has been confirmed to resume full training ahead of this match after suffering a knock earlier.
Chelsea on the other hand have no new Injury concerns as comfirmed by Thomas Tuchel but unfortunately they will be once again without key central defender Thiago Silva who is still recovering from his thigh Injury.
