Chelsea have made an offer to try and sign RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol in the January window – reports have claimed
One player that really impressed during the World Cup in Qatar was Gvardiol – who performed at a very high level and is a player that Chelsea are very keen to try and secure his services in the coming windows.
The club were keen over the summer window – but Gvardiol shocked us by agreeing a new contract at RB Leipzig which means that the Blues will now have to pay £77 million to try and get a transfer deal done.
According to the Evening Standard, the club is reportedly believed to test the waters by putting in a £45m bid for Croatia’s World Cup hero Gvardiol.
Although RB Leipzig are expected to ask for a much higher fee, the club reportedly wants to get on the negotiation table with an offer.
Multiple European elites are circling around the center-back and the Blues want to make the first move to gain some ground in the race.

But Gvardiol is a player that they are really keen on and we are sure that an offer arrive at the end of the season – as he will not leave in the January window.
