Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling is reportedly really annoyed with the way he’s been playing lately.
Sterling made an eye-catching move last summer from Manchester City to Chelsea in a £50 milliom deal, which seems a fair price when you consider what he’s achieved in his career so far.
The 28-year-old attacker definitely hit the ground running during his time at Stamford Bridge with some exciting performances. He’s not been able to build on that in the last few months, though.
Raheem Sterling frustration
Journalist Simon Phillips has shared that Sterling is upset right now with the level of his own performances.
The Chelsea winger is determined to bounce back to his best when he returns from injury.
Phillips told GiveMeSport: “I know that he has been unhappy, but that’s been with his own performances. He’s not been happy with how he’s been playing, so he’s trying to correct that.
“Obviously, he’s got his injury at the moment, but he wants to come back and correct that. He wants to get back to how he started his Chelsea career, which was actually very good.”
