Obviously it’s has already been an eventful summer for us and if things were to stop here, no one would complain.

However, it doesn’t seems like Chelsea are done just yet and while most of the future transfer activities will focus on letting few of the players go out for loan or sale, there might still be room for one or two more new players to come in before the transfer window closes.

Below is a summary of all the transfer headlines currently in Chelsea with their associated clubs and possible type of deals to be made.

1. Callum Hudson Odoi

Callum was heavily linked with Bayern about two years ago and was close to leaving but Chelsea did everything they could to keep him since he was already making a breakthrough as a professional football.

Callum unfortunately suffered an horrible injury at the latter stages of that season which kept him out for about half a year and since hus return, he has been unable to continue with that initial spark.

This drop of form has led to him being seldomly used by Frank Lampard with Mason Mount who is not even a natural winger often preferred when Pulisic is out.

With the introduction of new signings Like Timo Werner, Ziyech and Kai Havertz, Callum now knows his chances of playing has reduced even further and this has re-developed Bayern’s interest in the 19 years old.

Bayern are well aware it will be very difficult to acquire Hudson Odoi on a permanent basis as The Chelsea’s board still sees him as a kid with lots of potential but a loan deal is very much possible.

After Odoi only featured 11 mins in Chelsea’s last two Premier League games even with the absence of all the natural wingers like Pulisic and Ziyech, reports are claiming the English winger is ready to leave Chelsea to seek out play time elsewhere.

While a loan move to Bayern feels much like the likely destination, the fear also staying at the bench also there might trigger the deal to be sealed by a much smaller club where he would be assured of game time.

2. Antonio Rudiger

After his injury at the end of last season, Rudiger has been unable to replicate the form he put out during Sarri’s season. This has led to him being dropped at times by Lampard for other options like Tomori or Zouma who has been in really good form lately.

Advert!! (Post Continues Below)

Rudiger who is currently fully fit and featured for Germany during the last international outing, is yet to play a single minute for Chelsea this season. He was even left out of the squad in Chelsea’s last Premier League game against Liverpool and even the Carabao Cup against Barnsley recently.

After the Liverpool game, Lampard made a comment on Rudiger and insisted he was fit but there’s not just space for him because he has about five center halves in the squad and not everyone can fixture or be in the squad at the same time.

When the CB’s were just four; Rudiger, Zouma, Christensen and Tomori, every single one of them had a chance as Lampard didn’t really had a definite duo or pair but with the introduction of Thiago Silva during this transfer window, things has become more difficult with these four.

Everyone knows Lampard will never put Thiago Silva in the bench so at least one or two out of those four will have to go elsewhere to seek more gametime.

From recent lineups and performance the pecking order with these four is Zouma >> Christensen >> Tomori >> Rudiger.

These negletions has sparked a move for Rudiger and reports suggest he has been offered to Barcelona who are seriously looking for reinforcement in their defense.

Other Premier League clubs including Liverpool are reported to be interested in the German also.

3. Fikayo Tomori

Much about the need for some of our center halves to leave has already been said when writting on Rudiger.

Tomori was actually the most likely of our center halves to leave this summer but after these few games and his performance, Lampard has openely reassured the young English midfielder that he is fully backed.

However if there’s need be, a loan move to Everton has been the most likely option and still is.

4. Ruben Loftus Cheek

RLC is yet again another player who has failed to continue his fine form during he started to display during the Sarri era after an injury setback.

The English midfielder was used in the first match of the season against Brighton and his performance was once again terrible and since then, he has been left out of the squad in subsequent matches.

A loan move away from Stamford Bridge to a smaller club to try and get more playing time, fitness and confident seems like the viable option.

Report suggests that several Premier League clubs (about 8 in total) and clubs from oversees are all interested in the loan deal including Southampton, Aston Villa, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

5. Palmieri Emerson

With the addition if Ben Chilwel in our squad, it’s just rarional that at least one if either Marcus Alonso or Emerson had to leave.

Nothing is certain yet however as Emerson had a chance to play 90 minutes against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup and put out an absolute fantastic performance.

Report suggest Emerson is wanted by Serie A giant Juventus but his agent denied that claim but also refuse to rule out a possible move.

Emerson’s agent Fernando Garcia:

I always read that Emerson is close to Juventus, but I can reiterate that there have never been contacts in this transfer window with the bianconero club. Right now it’s hard to talk about his farewell, the boy only thinks of Chelsea.

6. Declan Rice

It is no longer news that the English lad is madly in love with Chelsea and report says he is already forcing a move from West Ham to easily secure to move to Chelsea if eventually Chelsea comes bidding.

Currently there have been no bid for him from Chelsea and this is thought to be as a result of too many players in the squad already.

Reports suggests that once Chelsea are able to finalise the loan move and sale of certain players already in the squad, then they will close this summer signing spree with Declan Rice to strenghten our defensive midfield and center back options incase of injury crises.

7. Jorginho

Jorginho’s future in Chelsea is still very uncertain and it seems it lies in his own hands.

serveral clubs from Italy and the Premier League are reported to be already interested in the Barzilian born midfielder. However, Chelsea wants him to stay but if there’s another addition to the squad in Declan Rice then that might fuel his departure.

The latest club said to be interested in Jorginho is surprisingly Arsenal who wants to strengthen their midfield before the transfer window closes. However Atletico’s Madrid Thomas Partey and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar still remains Mikel Arteta’s stronger priority.

So Blues fans what do you think about these possible transfers.

Who would you rather stay and who would you rather leave?
