Ben Chilwell sustained an injury in his ankle during our match against West Ham early this week. Tho the scan suggests that there’s no major tear in his ligament and he may recover quickly, the English international is still a doubt for our next two matches according to Lampard.
Reece James is currently facing difficulties with his knee and has been playing under a pain repellant but he will now be rested for the next few games and allowed to recover fully according to Lampard.
Hakim Ziyech has been out for a couple of weeks already after hurting his hamstring against Leeds. Lampard previously said he was back in training but in this recent press conference ahead of Arsenal the boss feels he still isn’t fit yet but will be ready in a week.
Chelsea will play Arsenal at the Emirates on the 26th of this month and after bouncing back from a two games back to back defeat with a win against West Ham, the blues will be hoping not to suffer another drawback in their form especially from an Arsenal side that haven’t won a single domestic home game in their last six.
