Frank Lampard has given a fresh injury update on the squad as we prepare for face Morecambe in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
During his Press Conference today ahead of the clash, the boss comfirmed that tho Reece James will resume training tomorrow, he will still be out as he aims to recover fully from his hamstring injury while also revealing two new players (Ngolo Kante and Christensen) that will be out for same reason.
Speaking on team news today, Lampard said:
Reece James is out, although he will train with us tomorrow. The same with Christensen and Kante is out with a minor hamstring and is suspended for Fulham anyway. They are out. The young players have been training with us.
Lampard admits he will use the Morecambe to help players build confidence again, while also giving minutes to those who need it.
Chelsea will be hoping to get a good win on Sunday to boost their confindence for their upcoming Premier League games.
