What really happened?

Kepa had a little knock during the game and Sarri who was Chelsea’s head coach at that time, decided to bring him off because the game was heading for penalties and he wanted a fully fit keeper to be for the shootouts.

However it appears Kepa was just faking that Injury to waste time because Chelsea were under pressure and When he saw the official raising the change board, he immediately insisted he was fine and would continue but then it was already too late as Caballero who was meant to replace him had already kit up and was waiting at the sidelines.

Kepa Arrizabalaga however insisted he wasn’t getting out because he was ok and not injured. Things got a little bit flared up at the pitch and sidelines with Sarri and his assistant Zola, getting furious. The substitution ended up being reverted as Kepa refused to come out.

Chelsea went on to loose the shootout to Manchester City with Kepa making one save out of five.
