Match Preview

Chelsea will welcome West Brom Albion as early kick-off tomorrow, so both sides will kick start the Premier League after the international break.

Chelsea are currently sitting 4th in the league and are looking forward to keeping it that way as they aim for Champion League qualification.

West Brom on the other hand will need to pull out some real stunt in their remaining matches if they want to avoid relegation as they’re currently way behind the safe zone.

Advert!! (Post Continues Below)

The first leg fixture of this tie was an interesting one full of goals. West Brom took a shocking 3 goal lead at halftime after some silly mistakes from the Chelsea defense but they could not hold on to their lead as Chelsea came rumping in the second half to secure a 3-3 draw.

Chelsea are still unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel and are yet to concede a single goal at Stamford Bridge in all competitions so I think that pretty much sums up how big the mountain is for West Brom to climb tomorrow.

Injury Updates

Apart from Ngolo Kante who Tuchel ruled out of the game due to the muscle Injury he sustained during the international break, there were positives in the Chelsea team news as all other player were declared fit and ready to play by the boss.

This means that Jorginho, Thiago Silva, and Tammy Abraham have all recovered fully and are in contention for tomorrow.

Tuchel on Chelsea Team news

Everybody was in training today, except N’Golo Kante who was doing individual work. Everybody else was out on the pitch and that’s good news.

Expected Lineup

Tuchel only comfirmed one player will be starting tomorrow which is Timo Werner. He comfirmed this when being asked about Werner’s missed chance for Germany against Macedonia.
