Eden Hazard spent 7 years with us at the Bridge and no doubt formed a bond with Chelsea and the fans as he was literally our best player during his time.

Eden Hazard moved in an uncontroversial manner to his boyhood dream club Real Madrid after handing Chelsea her second European trophy during his time at the club.

Chelsea however ironically defeated Real Madrid on their way this season to Champions League glory while Eden Hazard has struggled for most part of his Real Madrid career.

With 7 years at Chelsea, it is normal for Eden Hazard to want Chelsea to win the Champions League ahead of Manchester City but when asked if he celebrated Chelsea’s triumph on Saturday, The Real Madrid playmaker denied.

Reporter – Did you celebrate Chelsea’s Champions victory on Saturday night?

Eden Hazard🗣 – “Of course not, now I am a Real Madrid player. And I’m not happy. I’m just happy for my friends in Chelsea.”

Chelsea fans however finds it hard to believe this and they think Eden obviously celebrated their victory but wouldn’t want to say in public in order not to disrespect Real Madrid.

Lately this season, Hazard was seen laughing with the Chelsea players immediately after a defeat against them in Champions League semi finals and was heavily criticized for it by the Spanish media, so it is understandable why he has to be meticulous with his words in order not to invite the rot of the Spanish fans again.
