Chelsea could be without three key players as they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Tuchel confirmed earlier today in his press conference that Christian Pulisic and Ngolo Kante are ruled out due to injuries, hence won’t be available for the Aston Villa game.
According to the Gaffer, Pulisic sustained his injury during the international outing with the USMT and returned on crutches while Ngolo Kante is yet to recover from his prior injury in our last game against Liverpool.
What Tuchel Said:
“Today was the first day with everyone back. Unfortunately, we have N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic out. They both got back injured. N’Golo more from the Liverpool game and we will try for Tuesday. Christian came back on crutches.”
Thomas Tuchel however added that we can be with Romelu Lukuka for the game after a previous fitness uncertainty from the Belgian during his international outing.
Tuchel on Lukaku: “He trained full today, no problems at all.”
Chelsea could also be without Vetarian defender Thiago Silva for the Aston Villa game and Champions League clash with Zenith after The Brazil FA & FIFA imposed a 5 days ban on all Brazilians in the Premier League who refused to turn for international duty. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT THIS BAN
Tuchel however thinks there is still hope for Thiago Silva to feature as negotiations with the FA are still ongoing.
