Chelsea are readying a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala when his contract runs out at the end of the term, looking to strike a deal after the takeover is complete.

The sale is set to be finalised by the end of April, seeing the English giants return to business as usual when current owner Roman Abramovich is no longer associated with his club.

As per 90min, the Blues are planning to launch an approach for Paulo, who will be available for nothing when his Bianconeri deal expires in June.

The report adds that contact has been made with the Argentine’s representatives through intermediaries, and Thomas Tuchel’s side hope to open discussions with him once the leadership situation has been resolved.

Paulo’s season in Italy, which is extremely likely to be his final, has been hindered by injuries but the South American has managed to score 13 times and register six assists across all competitions.

At 28 years of age, Thomas could see the player as a more experienced option in attack, having given talents Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic a run of matches in the latest weeks.

With the uncertain circumstances surrounding the side at the moment, all transfer activity, incoming and outgoing, will be done once a takeover is officially announced.
