Chelsea have players with contract issues and some who will most likely be playing in their last few games for the club.

Thomas Tuchel has some of the biggest calls to make with who starts and who stays on the bench.

On the injury front, the Blues are looking quite healthy even though there are some players who have already said goodbye to the season.

Injuries to duo midway through the season

Ben Chilwell

There is a feeling that the Chelsea season started to dwindle after the season-ending injury to Ben Chilwell.

He was flying and has made a strong impression on both the technical team and his coaching staff.

Marcos Alonsohas the experience and has been good, but the malleability of Chilwell has been hugely missed and he will be in the stands again as Chelsea go in search of silverware.

Callum Hudson-Odoi

The winger has been out of action for a while and struggling with achilles issues.

He looked to have taken his game to another level halfway through the season, before injury struck and it’s been a real struggle for player and the club since.

There is no doubt that Hudson-Odoi is talented enough to play for Chelsea, but he has to be fit enough to do it and it’s just not been the case.

He will likely be at Wembley but, he would have liked to be on the pitch.

Big decisions to make

Ross Barkley

He hasn’t played as much as he would have liked this season due to a combination of factors, but like every player he would have loved to be involved at Wembley.

It’s the final of the FA Cup and he would be lucky to be named in the squad, let alone the team, despite training with the team and keeping a professional outlook all season.

He’s played just five games all season and will be disappointed with tha season.

Kenedy

He has brought back from loan after the injury to Ben Chilwell, but it’s beginning to look like he would have been better served away.

The Brazilian has managed just one game since returning, in the cup, and most times just looks to be elsewhere.

He is another player who would be further away from the team at Wembley, which will break his heart as it’s one of those games players would love to be involved in.

Saul Niguez

Chelsea fans are still waiting for the real Saul to arrive, with just a few games to end the season.

The Spanish midfielder arrived with a huge reputation, but has struggled with intensity, often used in positions that are alien to him.

There is a huge likelihood that he will not be at the club next summer, with the direction they would take on player sale and improving the squad for a real proper Premier League challenge next season.

He will be lucky to get some minutes at Wembley on the evidence of his involvement so far in the team.
